Perhaps the most surprising of Unexpected John Cena arrivals is here, because it turns out someone is in a fairly respectable-looking drama, and his name is John Cena. The wrestler-turned-actor co-stars with Kick-Ass‘s Aaron Taylor-Johnson in The Wall, the latest from uneven and surprisingly infrequent director Doug Liman. Cena and Taylor-Johnson, respectively, play an army sniper and spotter. The burlier of the two gets wounded by an enemy sniper and stranded in the open; Taylor-Johnson retreats behind THE WALL, where he’s pinned down and on the walkie-talkie with his would-be murderer. It’s sort of like if Phone Booth were remade in the Call of Duty engine. The film hits theaters in March.
