Avengers assemble even longer Endgame for theaters

With Endgame still trailing Avatar’s all-time worldwide box office, and Spider-Man: Far From Home hitting theaters in just a couple weeks, the Avengers are headed back to theaters with even more superfluous backup support: after-the-credits scenes!

According to multiple outlets, Marvel Studios will be giving Avengers: Endgame a re-release (if you can call it that when it’s still in the box office top ten) starting this weekend and ending at an indeterminate date. Marvel head Kevin Feige has told Screen Rant that this is explicitly not a new or extended cut, it’s just that “after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises.”

As in: “Surprise! You just dropped another twelve bucks on a highlight reel and a thirty-second scene someone will put on YouTube anyway.”
