20th Century Fox has just ordered a combo of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in the hopes of winning with a McDonald’s Monopoly crime movie. According to Deadline, the studio just won a bidding war for the film rights to How an Ex-Cop Rigged McDonald’s Monopoly Game and Stole Millions, a recent Daily Beast piece that tore apart the greasy sack of fast food-based gambling. Affleck is attached to direct his old pal Damon in the adaptation, with Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese providing a script. Let’s just hope it turns out a bit better than last time a Damon crony directed him in an oddball criminal conspiracy.
