The Parks and Recreation star with the most Sonic the Hedgehog-style hair is ready to take it to the next level. According to Variety, Ben Schwartz is set to bring his perfectly smug, often obnoxious lilt to the voice of the title character in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Jim Carrey is already set to play a live-action Dr. Robotnik, and James Marsden will play a regular cop, as if we need an audience surrogate character introducing us to Sonic’s world after 27 years of this little blue shit waggling his finger at us. (Tika Sumpter is also playing an unknown human role.) We’ll find out whether Schwartz can reach the whiny Sonic vocal heights of Urkel when the film hits theaters November of next year.
