At last, the eight year campaign to turn the 2011 Matthew McConaughey into a series (#LincolnLawyerOneMovieAndSomeSeasons) has ended. CBS has reportedly ordered an adaptation of the 2005 novel turned film drama, with a series commitment that means a big penalty if we Linc-Heads don’t get our long-desired show on air. David E. Kelley—of Big Little Lies, Ally McBeal, The Practice, and Boston Legal fame—is heading up the project as writer and executive producer. McConaughey is not currently attached, because these sons of bitches apparently didn’t fully read our petition.
