Charlize Theron’s ‘Young Adult’ team is back with the ‘Tully’ trailer

Admirably committed to looking worn out and beat up whenever she’s not looking incredibly gorgeous, Charlize Theron plays an overworked mother of three struggling to keep her head afloat in her latest. That’s where we start in Tully, Theron’s new collaboration with her Young Adult team of writer Diablo Cody and director Jason Reitman. Blade Runner 2049‘s Mackenzie Davis co-stars in the title role, that of “the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny” brought on to help out. That’s just about all you get in terms of plot from both the official synopsis and this first teaser, which also briefly sees Ron Livingston being a real dick. (He seems to play the husband/Mona of this updated Who’s the Boss.)

Tully will definitely make our mom think it’s a sequel about the hero pilot when it hits theaters April 20.
