Colin Trevorrow made a secret Jurassic World short that arrives this Sunday

Forever spitting in the face of Jurassic Park’s moral, Universal has once again created something that should no longer exist: yet another needless Jurassic Park follow-up.

As a precursor to his upcoming franchise entry, Jurassic World director and Falling Kingdom co-writer Colin Trevorrow has apparently secretly filmed a short set in the JP universe of endless dinosaur rampages. Titled Battle at Big Rock, it’s said to star André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd, and Pierson Salvador. It’s only eight minutes, but hopefully that’s long enough to answer whether or not it’s a good idea to play God against the will of nature. It’s still so unclear!

Battle at Big Rock premieres on FX following Sunday’s showing of Fallen Kingdom, but it will be online shorter after.
