The Little Stranger, once just a grotesque euphemism for what one prods their partner with in the morning, is now a feature film! Based on the Sarah Walters gothic horror novel of the same name, the movie sees Domhnall Gleeson as a housemaid’s son revisiting the mansion of his youth, now as a respectable country doctor doing house visits. He finds his former home in disrepair, and soon discovers that there may be a sinister presence haunting it more than his little mustache already is. Ruth Wilson, Charlotte Rampling, and Will Poulter co-star. The Little Stranger will gently guide itself into theaters August 31.
