‘Game of Thrones’ won’t be back until 2019

Good news, Game of Thrones purists: in keeping accurate with the books, the series is also going to take forever to wrap this crap up. Though HBO hasn’t set an official air date for the show’s final season, according to star Sophie Turner, it’s more than a year away. Speaking to Variety about her upcoming projects, the actress just revealed “Game of Thrones comes out in 2019.” The dragons will be experiencing dragon menopause by then, but it should be pretty cool otherwise.

I’m curious, what percentage of your article-writing time would you say is dedicated to coming up with jokes?

I thought about that because this article is so short that it’s roughly two-thirds joke.

    • The vast majority. I’ve sometimes spent an embarrassingly long time just to come up with some really, really lame jokes, and just as often I’ve looked envious to all the straightforward entertainment blogs and how they can just crank it out, because it’s otherwise not very hard at all to re-report someone else’s reporting. But what fun is that?

      • So just a little more time than I waste on idiotic art and photoshops.

Don’t even trip yo, you do you

      • P.T. Internet

I come for the jokes and stay for the news. The only problem I have with your jokes is when I see a headline, think of a great (lame) joke, and then see you beat me to it and did it better.
