Gerard Butler has found his latest role as a gruff man with a growled, slightly off American accent and a completely generic name you’ll never remember.
The actor has recently made a deal that will put him in the pilot’s seat of his most intriguingly-titled action-thriller yet: The Plane! Butler will play Ray Torrance, a commercial pilot forced to make an emergency landing in some war-torn country or another. And only RAY TORRANCE has what it takes to protect his passengers and crew from the local militias that hope to take them hostage.
While Lionsgate today secured the film’s distribution rights, bidding remains hot for which fast food place gets The Plane kids’ meals.
