You know when you visit an old friend at a Tijuana nightclub, then guys with automatic weapons show up and start shooting and abducting people, then those guys frame you in the bombing of a DEA office, so then you have to go undercover in the original guys’ organization to get out of the bombing charge? Well, now there’s a movie about that. Jane the Virgin‘s Gina Rodriguez stars, and director Catherine Hardwicke can hopefully redeem herself for the trash action she put together in Twilight. We’ll find out when Miss Bala hits theaters February 1.
