Nathan Fielder is headed to HBO, and his latest struggling small business owner is documentarian John Wilson.
According to Variety, the Nathan for You host has signed a one-year overall deal with the premium cable network that already includes two series. One is an untitled comedy pilot Fielder will write, direct, and star in. The other is How To…With John Wilson, “a half-hour, first person documentary series hosted by an anxious New Yorker (Wilson) who attempts to give everyday advice while dealing with his own personal issues”; Fielder will just executive produce that one before leaving to see if it succeeds thanks to his business advice.
