The Hitman’s Bodyguard is finally getting the sequel you demanded

It’s not the recent, R-rated, Ryan Reynolds-led action-comedy anyone talks about, but, like Deadpool, The Hitman’s Bodyguard was a strangely profitable success. Shot for an estimated $30 million, it ended up taking in over $176 million worldwide despite largely negative reviews. So, of course, now we’re getting a sequel. According to Variety, Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, and Salma Hayek have all officially signed on to reprise their roles in a follow-up, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. It’s said the plot “follows bodyguard Michael Bryce (Reynolds) enlisted by Jackson and Hayek’s characters to join them on a mission along the Amalfi Coast.” So this one’s just pornography, right?
