In an open letter signed by the entire main cast, the stars of Guardians of the Galaxy have united in standing behind director James Gunn following his recent firing from Guardians, Vol. 3. Posted on Chris Pratt’s Instagram, the statement asks for Gunn’s reinstatement while acknowledging the crass mistakes of his past. In other words, the group takes the completely sensible position most everyone but Disney has taken on the matter.
