Just days before the release of their Joker, Warner Bros. already has another face-painted, peripheral Batman movie for us to be very serious about. So have a look with the new trailer for Birds of Prey, the Suicide Squad spin-off that sees Margot Robbie making it hard for co-stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Rosie Perez as she continues to go cartoonishly large to play against as Harley Quinn. Likewise going quite big: Ewan McGregor, who’s apparently playing Black Mask as a borderline take on Jake Gyllenhaal’s Okja villain.
This latest muddled answer to what the DCEU is meant to be hits theaters February 7.
