Netflix is animating just about everything Roald Dahl wrote

We already have brilliantly animated takes on James and the Giant Peach and The Fantastic Mr. Fox. So how about a dozen or so more animated Roald Dahl adaptions? Well, that’s Netflix’s plan, anyway. The streaming company has just announced that they’ve acquired the rights to develop Dahl titles that include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The BFG, The Twits, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, George’s Marvellous Medicine, Boy — Tales of Childhood, Going Solo, The Enormous Crocodile, The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me, Henry Sugar, Billy and the Minpins, The Magic Finger, Esio Trot, Dirty Beasts, and Rhyme Stew as “animated event series.” The Dahl Cinematic Universe is upon on. Like so many a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory character, lap it up until you’re deathly ill.
