R.I.P. George A. Romero and Martin Landau

Over the weekend, we lost a couple legends: Night of the Living Dead director George A. Romero, the father of the modern zombie, and actor Martin Landau, who won a deserved Oscar for playing Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood. Romero was 77, and Landau was 89. Both will hopefully return as iconic undead horror monsters. As we wait for that to happen, you can for now check out Edgar Wright’s nice tribute to Romero here (just as soon as his site comes back online).
