Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day are getting an Apple series

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day are making their own series apart from Dennis the Bastard Man. With Glenn Howerton off doing A.P. Bio, McElhenney and Day have reportedly made a deal to give Apple a new, half-hour sitcom. Set in a video game development studio (Ubisoft is also a producer), the comedy will be executive produced and written by the pair, with McElhenney also starring. We can only guess that the concept—and McElhenney’s sudden free time—owes to the fact that he also just parted ways on the Minecraft movie he’d been attached to direct since 2015. Either way, expect this to be totally bad ass.
