‘Westworld’, ‘SNL’ lead your 2017 Primetime Emmy nominations

Git 'im, Evan Rachel Wood.

The 2017 Primetime Emmy nominations have just been announced, and it looks like it’s a big year for ciphers who’ll perform whatever goofy-costumed role they’re asked. HBO’s Westworld and NBC’s Saturday Night Live have tied for the most nods, each with 22.

Have a look at the rest of the nominees below, and be sure to brutally rail against them in the comments. I mean, come on, nothing for Leftovers?

Winners will be announced Sunday, September 17 on CBS.

  • Sigh. Another year and little love for The Americans.

    • Pete Jones

You know you’re in the Golden Age of Television when you take a show like The Americans for granted

  • scott19

I didn’t know there was a category for cartoon talking, but I can’t believe that Marge Simpson would be nominated. God, there’s so many categories everyone gets to be nominated. Fun!

Oh wait, not Leftovers unless Carrie Coon wins, takes off her Fargo jersey, and BOOM! She was Leftovers the WHOLE TIME!

  • HalSolo

Damn them for tearing me apart between my love of Alfred Molina and my love of David Thewlis.

  • jaime_arg

Kristen Schaal should get the emmy and yell “suck a dick, dumbshits!”

Also, I like SNL but it has way too many nominations.
