Hey, remember how Zombieland was a movie ten years ago? Well, now it is again, with Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin once again teaming up to
fight zombies pal around for some easy gags involving weed and “The Rules.” Also, now Harrelson’s Tallahassee and Eisenberg’s Columbus have some doppelgängers in Luke Wilson and Thomas Middleditch. Because, after a decade, apparently they couldn’t get the clearly stronger choice of Owen Wilson?
Original writers Dave Callaham and Rhett Reese again provide the screenplay, but the return of director Ruben Fleischer would more exciting had he not already teased a Harrelson-focused sequel with the upsettingly-bad Venom.
We’ll see if this works out any better when Zombieland: Double Tap hits theaters October 18.
