Giving the “one crazy night” genre another recent entry to rival Good Time for getting harrowingly Real, 6 Balloons sees Abbi Jacobson spending all night driving her heroin-addicted brother (Dave Franco) and his daughter around Los Angeles in search of a detox center. Like, we couldn’t just get these two in the obvious raunchy rom-com they should be in together? Writer-director Marja-Lewis Ryan had to do the family issues meets drug addiction thing? Well, fine.
