Adam Sandler to be launched into cosmos for The Spaceman of Bohemia

At least achieving the dream of Funny People‘s Astro-Not, Adam Sandler is heading to outer space. He’s reportedly set to star in Chernobyl director Johan Renck’s Spaceman of Bohemia, an adaptation of Jaroslav Kalfař’s 2017 sci-fi novel of the same name. The story, called “Solaris with laughs” by The Guardian, will see Sandler as the Czech Republic’s first astronaut, sent on a solo mission to investigate a mysterious cloud of intergalactic dust near Venus. While in space, he reflects on his past, loses his wife, and ends up meeting a 34-eyed spider alien. Phew, a part for Rob Schneider then!
