Arrested Development season five has a trailer and an impending release date

Like a magician meant to disappear inside a fake cave and reemerge three days later, Arrested Development doesn’t exactly follow a proper schedule when it comes to its resurrections. The series took seven years between its third and fourth seasons, and even that only came together after ages of rumors and false starts. But now, just a relatively short five years since season four, Arrested Development is returning to our screens.

Today, Netflix released a trailer for the comedy’s new season, revealing some already-strong footage and a streaming date for the latest run: May 29. Still no date for when Netflix will release a repeating Arrested Development DVD menu you can wake up to after inevitably falling asleep re-watching episodes.
