
Danny McBride and David Gordon Green have settled on their latest nostalgic reinvention. The Halloween (2018) pair’s Rough House Pictures is reportedly teaming with HBO Max and Topps for an animated series based on the 1980s trading cards Garbage Pail Kids. Michael Eisner, whose Tornante Company is also producing, has been working on a new Garbage Pail Kids adaptation for nearly a decade, having first bought the rights back in 2007.
