“Larry’s Back & Nothing Has Changed.” That’s the promise of this new Curb Your Enthusiasm trailer, and judging by the incredulous frustration and confrontational shouting within, that indeed seems to be the case. This is another wonderfully familiar suit coat atop the white undershirt-light sweater combo of L.D.’s eight-season run. The only noticeable change is that David has pulled some new guest roles for us, here teasing appearances from Bryan Cranston, Ed Begley, Jr., Carrie Brownstein, Elizabeth Perkins, and Andrea Savage. It’s said Elizabeth Banks, Jimmy Kimmel, Lauren Graham, Nick Offerman, Nasim Pedrad, June Diane Raphael, and Judge Judy also show up this season, but we’ll have to wait to see how they kick Larry out of somewhere or another. The ninth season premieres October 1.
