Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho trailer heads downtown

Edgar Wright’s followup to the entertaining if underwhelming Baby Driver again sees the director leaning even further into genre pastiche. It’s a psychological-horror hat on a hat of being 1965; inspired by ’65’s Repulsion and taking a Quantum Leap to be halfway set there. The film sees Jojo Rabbit’s Thomasin McKenzie as an aspiring fashion-designer who apparently travels back in time in her sleep to become her idol—similarly-aspiring singer Anya Taylor-Joy.
