Did the CIA’s experiments in LSD and mind control lead to the murder of a family man? Either way, soon we’re all going to be talking about that being the case, because Netflix is putting out a true crime series about it. It’s called Wormwood, and it comes from celebrated documentarian Errol Morris (The Thin Blue Line, Mr. Death, Tabloid). Peter Sarsgaard, Jimmi Simpson, Bob Balaban, Tim Blake Nelson, Molly Parker, Michael Chernus, and Jack O’Connell are among the cast Morris has lined up for some very dramatic dramatizations. The government’s secrets of acid, murder, and noggin-powers will be revealed December 15.
