NBCUniversal’s Peacock has reportedly made a 13-episode order for Frogger, a competition series based on the Konami arcade classic of the same name. Drawing from the rich mythology of a frog’s survival instinct in the face of death, the show will see contestants dodging “traffic, snapping alligators, and hungry hippos” as they try to cross various obstacle courses. The winner receives a cash prize. Did no one tell the producers that kids would do this for a BMX bike and a Sony Walkman?
