Is the Scream franchise still winking in being so dreadfully drawn-out beyond even the death of its creator, or is it actually just a fully heartless cash-grab at this point? Who can tell! But we’re still making these things, and here’s the trailer for the sixth.

Jumping ahead to what’s traditionally a part VIII, this seems to be the Ghostface Takes Manhattan of the series, our slashing-and-now-shotgunning antagonist lurking around New York’s subways and bodegas to hit their murder quota. Also, there’s some kind of secret Ghostface museum now?
Honestly, at this point we should just tell Ryan Murphy that Ghostface was a real killer and see what he does with it as an Evan Peters cable miniseries; instead, we’re getting Scream VI in theaters March 10.
