Rampage has only just started shooting, but already there’s a project aiming far beneath that film’s seemingly-low bar for giant animal video game adaptations. Have a look with the first trailer for It Came from the Desert, a horror-comedy based on the 1989 video game of the same name. The original game was already a spoof of ’50s films—Them! in particular, it would seem, based on all the giant ants—so this will actually be a parody movie based on a video game parodying a movie.
