The latest of those comedies where some vacationing women (ideally a least one SNL vet) have a scene doing shots in a club, then get into some wild predicaments, Ibiza is headed straight to whatever category heading Netflix calls that genre. Gillian Jacobs stars as a young professional sent on a work trip—and accompanied by friends Vanessa Bayer and Phoebe Robinson—to Barcelona. There, she experiences the truest modern day fairy tale: meeting a handsome EDM DJ (Game of Thrones corpse Richard Madden). Her travels abroad derail as she follows his hot, thumping beats, hoping to be pounded by them on the titular island. The film hits Netflix May 25.
