Gina Carano, the crazy Facebook mom you went to high school with who confused MLM and MMA, is no longer a part of the Star Wars universe.
In a statement, Lucasfilm today announced that Carano’s Mandalorian character Cara Dune will not be returning, saying “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future.”
The news comes in the wake of controversy surrounding a very dumb story Carano shared on Instagram.
Scrolling through her Instagram or Twitter reveals an incredible wealth of right-wing trash, awful quotes, and anti-mask dogshit, but the straw that finally broke the Cara’s back was a post equating the plight of conservatives to being Jewish amid the Holocaust. Turns out, it’s actually different in a couple ways!
Going forward, The Mandalorian will now simply have to rely on any of numerous other characters who fills essentially the same carapace of a tough but hollow role.
