Well, Harrison Ford had decided to make another comedy where someone hires him to pilot them somewhere, only for the mismatched pair to become stranded.
The star of Six Days, Seven Nights has reportedly signed on to co-star in STXfilms’ The Miserable Adventures of Burt Squire Aboard the Horn High Yo, a film that will see him now a castaway with Ed Helms instead of Anne Heche. The two-hander will see Helms as a family man suffering a midlife crisis that sends him on what he hopes will be his dream sailing vacation. Ford will play the “charming but unhinged sea captain” who ends up shipwrecking them somewhere in the Atlantic.
Given that Ford managed to actually wreck a two-person craft between these movies, it’s truly a spectacular case of art imitating life imitating art.
