As reported a month ago, Daniel Radcliffe will be playing “Weird Al” Yankovic in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story—a feature-length extension of a Funny or Die short that gives Yankovic a goofy biopic.
But what will the Glasses Wizard star look like in the role?
Exactly like you’d think: like Daniel Radcliffe in a “Weird Al” Halloween costume. It’s fine! That’s of course what it is. What more do you want from a farcical re-telling of the rise of the creator of parody hit “Fat”? We don’t need prosthetics here. We get that he’s weird. Actual “Weird Al” almost certainly isn’t so vascular, but again, it’s fine. This Yankovic just goes hard on arm day. Eat it.
