Well, despite House of the Dragon showrunner Ryan Condal’s claim that we’re done with the series’ numerous time jumps, it seems there’s one more coming.
HBO chairman and CEO Casey Bloys has just revealed that it will be about two years (or longer) before we get any more episodes of the Game of Thrones spinoff.
“Don’t expect it in ’23, but I think sometime in ’24,” Bloys said.
“We’re just starting to put the plan together, and just like last time, there are so many unknowns. It’s not to be coy or secretive, but you don’t want to say it’s going to be ready on this date, and then you have to move it.”
So thank god that Dumb Lil’ Boy got gobbled up in the finale, sparing us from watching him abruptly shift into a gangling teenager.
