James Franco has a ‘Dog Day Afternoon’ of horror with ‘The Vault’ trailer

Are the big banks soulless, evil corporations that need to be broken up? Also, do they quite literally house evil entities in select branch basements? One of these questions will be answered with this trailer for The Vault. The film sees James Franco as a bank manager fending off some unusually attractive would-be robbers. He tells them that the “real money” is in an old vault beneath the bank, but that is a lie. What awaits is some sort of sinister presence that bank manager James Franco apparently keeps there. So it’s a pretty good prank on his part.

The Vault arrives in theaters and on-demand September 1.
