Benny Safdie now has a rival for who we’re most surprised but thrilled to see in the next Star War. Deadline brings word that Maya Erskine—co-creator and co-star of Hulu’s fantastic PEN15—is joining Safdie and Ewan McGregor in the eclectic cast of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Though it’s not known who Erskine will play, it’s said she’ll be in at least three episodes. But will she get herself off with a lightsaber? (This comment makes sense and is not arbitrarily crass if you have watched PEN15.)
