With John Wick: Chapter 4 already in the works, Lionsgate has decided that while they’ve got Keanu in a suit, they may as well knock out a bonus Wick while they’re at it.
In a call yesterday, studio CEO Jon Feltheimer revealed that a fifth chapter of the John Wick franchise will be shot back-to-back with the fourth. While Wick 4 was originally slated for next year, it’s now set for a May 27, 2022 release, as Keanu Reeves is currently off blowing the shit out of a slightly different set of stock characters for The Matrix 4.
