Keanu Reeves to star in another series where he brutally kills a bunch of dudes

Following the Liam Neeson career path, Keanu Reeves is going all in on his second-act badass killer reinvention. He’s reportedly set to star in Netflix’s movie and anime series adaptation of BRZRKR, a comic book created by Reeves and pretty blatantly based on his own image. It seems to basically ask “what if John Wick were also Hercules?”

The story is described as a “brutally epic saga about an immortal warrior’s 80,000 year fight through the ages. The man known only as ‘B’ is half-mortal and half-god, cursed and compelled to violence, even at the sacrifice of his sanity. But after wandering the earth for centuries, B may have finally found a refuge—working for the US government to fight the battles too violent and too dangerous for anyone else. In exchange, B will be granted the one thing he desires—the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence … and how to end it.” And now more than ever, what’s more relatable in a hero than just wanting to finally die?
