Kingsman franchise will be somewhere in the ballpark of ten films

On deck to ostensibly hit theaters early next year, prequel entry The King’s Man will not put a bow on Kingsman as a trilogy. There will actually be a shitload of these things.

According to the CEO of Matthew Vaughn’s Marv Films, Vaughn is already planning to make the franchise about ten or so films long. The Kingsman series director is reportedly looking at “something like seven more Kingsman films.” That is a lot of Kingsman! Seems a tad excessive, arbitrary, and premature, really—especially given that there’s also a Kingsman TV series in development. But that’s just the sort of commitment it takes to stay competitive against Christopher Nolan in putting handsome dudes in suits to shoot some guns.
