Based on the Millennium trilogy follow-up that wasn’t actually written by the original author, and with a cast and director separate from both the Swedish Girl with the Dragon Tattoo adaptation and David Fincher’s well-regarded remake, The Girl in the Spider’s Web isn’t exactly the sequel anyone wanted to see. But, well, now you can thanks to this, its first trailer.
Don’t Breathe‘s Fede Álvarez directed the film, which sees The Crown‘s Claire Foy assume the role of hacker vigilante Lisbeth Salander. We’ll see how her pubic hair piles up against her novel-accurate competition when The Girl in the Spider’s Web hits theaters November 9.
