Judging by its trailer, Lupin III: The First is sort of a Super Mario 64 of anime. After some solid to fantastic prior, 2-D entries, it’s not like we needed a 3-D take. But, hey, if it works, it works, and it seems like this more or less does. What else are we asking for at his point?
Anyway, our fantastic pals over at GKIDS are putting this out in the US October 18.
