It looks like the sequel to 2015’s Daddy’s Home may be going the Grandaddy’s Home route. Deadline reports that Paramount is now courting Mel Gibson and John Lithgow to star in the follow-up opposite Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell. There’s not yet word on what roles the two would play, but the general consensus is that they’d be the daddies of Daddy Wahlberg and Daddy Ferrell. That’s four daddies—and maybe more should, say, John Cena’s eleventh-hour daddy return from the original.
This is why, no matter what may happen in these uncertain times, we will remain the greatest country in the world. Because of our wealth of daddies.
