Having completed winged man-animal checkpoints Batman, Birdman, and Vulture, Michael Keaton is coming full circle. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the man who makes most every movie better is in talks to reprise his role as the Caped Crusader for Warner’s long-stalled The Flash.
Given that the DCEU is a half-crumbled, vaguely soft-rebooted mess completely disconnected from 1989 Batman‘s, it’s unclear how Keaton’s sexagenerian Batman would fit into the narrative (are we just skipping to Batman Beyond now?). But, hey, it’s Keaton playing Batman again, so who’s complaining?
We can only hope that, in Keaton’s second lap, he now manages to dodge course hazards Jack Frost and Herbie: Fully Loaded.
