Michelle Williams is in talks for one of those incredibly rare roles in which she isn’t in a miserable marriage. She’s reportedly started negotiations to play a single mom in Mid-90s, the film that will be Jonah Hill’s directorial debut. Hill also wrote the script, a coming-of-age story about a teenage skater dealing with issues of class, race, and his codependent mother. Finally, a close Michelle Williams relationship that will be depressingly bleak in a slightly different dynamic! The film is expected to shoot this June.
