Like a slighted ex still hoping you might get back together, Netflix has started texting whether maybe you could get your own Netflix account or not whatever.
Some illicit Netflix viewers have reportedly been getting a message screen even more obnoxious than the one where it asks if you’re still watching: the above image, warning that “If you don’t live with the owner of this account, you need your own account to keep watching.”
It’s said that hitting the “verify later” button lets one continue on without bothering with the authorization process, but it’s yet unclear exactly what “later” means.
More worryingly, paying accounts may soon also be hit with similarly unwanted messages of “hey long time!! 😁 lol can i get that verification code thx!!! 😘😘😘.”
