Fresh off his role as a man trying to hunt down his truffle-hunting pig, Nicolas Cage is now ready to hunt some bison.
He’s reportedly set to star as leader of a group of buffalo (technically bison) hunters in Butcher’s Crossing, “an epic frontier adventure” from Red Army and Red Penguins documentarian Gabe Polsky.
Set in 1879s Kansas, the film follows the 23-year-old son of a minister who, inspired by the writings of Emerson, drops out of Harvard to find himself in the wilderness. Instead, he finds Nic Cage. Better outcome, honestly.
