Though a few Mystery Science Theater 3000 stars have already kept the spirit alive with Rifftrax, it’s been quite some time since any shoddily-made robots and never-as-good intermissions have been in the talking-over-movies scene. But now, puppet-bots and space station segments are back in Netflix’s new MST3K re-launch, which sees comedian Jonah Ray, Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt and others stepping in the lead roles. Our own frequent TV-VCR reviewer has seen the pilot and called it a solid, faithful remake with some creaky moments that will likely improve in subsequent episodes. And now you can have a look yourself with this trailer that looks quite cheap in the best way possible. The full season will embrace us in its youthful new Hands of Fate on April 14.
