Imagine we took the British gangster quips and Brad Pitt out of Snatch and put them on Japanese transit with Atomic Blonde director David Leitch. Well, you can stop imagining, because here it is with the trailer for Bullet Train.
Pitt stars as the John Wick helmer’s latest long-haired former star of an early ‘90s vampire movie to play an assassin who, after retirement, yeah, is thinkin’ he’s back. So, he’s off to board the titular bullet train to nab that most classically vague of MacGuffins: A Briefcase. As is the Wick-an deal, though, he’ll of course have to also fight off a bevy of other name-brand assassins—among them Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Bryan Tyree Henry, and Zazie Beetz. Michael Shannon, Karen Fukuhara, Logan Lerman, Bad Bunny, and Sandra Bullock also figure in.
But the true star? The bucket cap Pitt seems to wear throughout most of this thing. You only get what you give, Brad.
