The retroactive, nostalgia-addled culmination of 20 years of Spider-Man movies is nearly ready to descend upon us like a now 66-year-old man on a little green flying board. Have a look with the new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
While still cagey about any other Spider-Men who may or may not be present, this thing does not hold back on all the returning villains they’ve paid to show up again. Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin gives a cackle and a little monologue; Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus seems to adopt some Tony Stark nanotech or whatever in his needless second redemption; Jamie Foxx’s Electro looks less dumb than he did before; and Sandman and Lizard are around in some form or another. Bad news for them, though: According to Doctor Strange, they all have to die. Though Doctor Strange also doubles down on “Scooby-Doo this crap” as a saying, so he may be fevered or concussed.
We’ll find out as Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters December 17.
